...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM PST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Up to 1.2 ft of inundation above ground level is possible in low lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE...Bayshore locations along the San Francisco Bay and San Pablo Bay. * WHEN...From 8 AM Tuesday to 2 PM PST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...At the San Francisco tidal gauge high tide is expected to be 1.0 ft above normal (6.9 ft MLLW) at 10:18 AM Wednesday, 1.2 ft above normal (7.0 ft MLLW) at 10:58 AM Thursday, 1.1 ft above normal (7.0 ft MLLW) at 11:42 AM Friday, and 0.9 ft above normal (6.7 ft MLLW) at 12:31 PM Saturday. High tide timing varies up to 90 minutes earlier or later along the coast and throughout the Bay respectfully. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Isolated gusts to 55 mph possible along North Bay coastal areas and ridgetops Wednesday morning as the cold front passes through. Wind gusts may exceed 60 mph in the regions higher peaks. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Remain in the lower levels of your home during the strongest winds, and avoid windows.
