Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... In southern California, Chiriaco Summit, Joshua Tree NP East and Joshua Tree NP West. * WHEN...From 5 AM PDT early this morning through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Abundant moisture has moved into southeast California and southwest Arizona and this will help to bring scattered thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall by late morning and through the evening hours today.
