...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT LOCATIONS NEAR FORT APACHE AND WHITERIVER IN SOUTHERN NAVAJO COUNTY UNTIL 1245 PM MST... At 1215 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Seven Mile, or 37 miles south of Show Low, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Turkey Creek, Whiteriver, Rainbow City, Seven Mile, Whiteriver Airport, Fort Apache, Christmas Tree Lake, North Fork, Kinishba Ruins, Hawley Lake, Earl Park Lake, Cyclone Lake, McNary, East Fork and Canyon Day. This includes the following highways... State Route 260 between mile markers 358 and 360. State Route 73 between mile markers 333 and 354. State Route 473 between mile markers 3 and 10. This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds... Diamond Creek Campground. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
