...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...North Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona... South Central Pinal County in southeastern Arizona... * WHEN...Until 230 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1138 AM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms extending from Red Rock to Silver Bell. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Tiro Wash, El, Blanco Wash, Santa Cruz River, Mammoth Wash, Guild Wash, Aguirre Wash, House Wash, Cocio Wash, Robles Wash, Los, Brawley Wash and Viopuli Wash. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Marana, Avra Valley, Pinal Airpark, Picture Rocks, Red Rock and Silver Bell. - This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 223 and 236. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Sasco Rd at Santa Cruz Wash and Park Link Dr between I-10 and HWY 79. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
