...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM MST THIS
EVENING FOR APACHE COUNTY...

At 757 PM MST, Heavy rain has ended over and near Black River. A
radar estimated 1.5 and 3 inches of rain fell earlier this evening.
Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams and
normally dry washes.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
West Poker Mountain, Black River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will become
muddy and impassable.

NIGHT...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...All of northern Arizona, including Apache, Navajo,
Coconino, Yavapai and northern Gila counties.

* WHEN...From late tonight through late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Flash flooding will be possible in creeks, normally dry
washes, swimming holes, and over recently burned areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Increasing moisture will combine with a shortwave feature moving
north across Arizona to bring multiple rounds of showers and
thunderstorms from late Tuesday night through Wednesday night.
Thunderstorms will have the potential to produce heavy rainfall
that could lead to flash flooding, especially in areas that
receive repeated rounds of rainfall.
