Waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS from 20 to 60 NM... Until 630 PM CDT.... At 459 PM CDT...A line of strong thunderstorms was located along a line extending from 12 nm northeast of Battleship Park to near Point Clear to near Gulf Shores Beach...moving west at 20 knots. Locations impacted include... Gaillard Island, Pinto Island, East Fowl River Bridge, Sand Island Lighthouse, Bon Secour Bay, Farewell Buoy, Middle Bay Light, Mississippi Sound East Of Pascagoula, Heron Bay, and Battleship Park. The primary threats from these storms are wind gusts up to 30 knots...locally higher waves...and heavy downpours. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until these storms have passed.
