At 115 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Arab, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Huntsville, Albertville, Cullman, Guntersville, Arab, Redstone
Arsenal, Hanceville, Owens Cross Roads, Grant, and Geraldine.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to

the following counties, in north central Alabama, Cullman. In
northeast Alabama, DeKalb, Jackson and Marshall.

* WHEN...Through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- The combination of saturated soils and several additional
rounds of heavy rainfall will result in an increasing risk
for flash flooding.
