...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING FOR
SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL ALABAMA AND THE WESTERN FLORIDA
PANHANDLE...

The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect until 6 PM CST this evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 051, 052, 053, 054, 055,
056, 057, 058, 059, 060, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 261,
262, 263, 264, 265 and 266.

* WINDS...Northwest 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 20 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
