...STRONG OUTFLOW AND FREEZING SPRAY BEGINS SUNDAY... Starting Sunday, cold northerly outflow winds will begin across the northern inner channels, increasing and spreading south by early Monday. Winds of near-gale force are a certainty, with gale force conditions ebbing and flowing through the coming week. Highest winds expected in Lynn Canal and the four corners area. Very cold temperatures will move down the panhandle through the week, bringing moderate freezing spray or greater as far south as southern Stephens Passage. Continue to monitor the NOAA Weather Radio for updates as we monitor the progression of this system through the weekend.
