PALMER, BUTTE, AND KNIK RIVER VALLEY...

* Winds...Southeast winds up to 15 mph, gusting as high as 20 to
30 mph.

* Timing...Today, from 1 PM to 8 PM.

* Relative Humidity...As low as 20 to 30 percent.

* Temperatures...As high as 65 degrees Fahrenheit.

* Location...Lower Matanuska Valley, specifically around Palmer,
Butte, and Knik River Valley.

* Impacts...Rapid ignition, growth and spread of fires will be
possible.
