...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM AKDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Auke Lake near Auke Bay * WHEN...Until 1000 PM AKDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 626 PM AKDT, river gauge reports indicate rises in water levels from heavy rain runoff across the advisory area from Sunday afternoon. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly or is ongoing, especially near Auke Lake. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 1.0 inches are possible. - For Auke Lake near Auke Bay: At 6:30pm the stage was 32.7 feet and steady. Flood Stage is 33 feet. Impacts: At 32 feet: This is bankful conditions along Auke Lake. At 33 feet: Water from the lake will inundate yards of homes along Auke Lake. For Montana Creek: At 6:30pm the stage was 13.7 feet and falling. Flood Stage is 14.5 feet. Montana Creek is no longer in flood stage. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
