Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches. * WHERE...Prince of Wales Island. * WHEN...Until 10 PM AKDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Another heavier band of snow will move through Wednesday. Due to the showery nature of the snow, accumulations will be highly variable with periods of melting in sunny breaks. Highest accumulations expected at elevation and along interior roadways. Scattered Snow showers are expected to then continue through at least Friday morning. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling.
