...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM TO 10 PM AKDT FRIDAY... * AFFECTED AREA...Fortymile Country, Upper Tanana Valley, Delta Junction, Tanana Flats, Eielson AFB and Salcha, Goldstream Valley and Nenana Hills, Two Rivers, Fairbanks Metro Area, Nenana, Northern Denali Borough and Eastern Delta Junction. * TIMING...From 9 AM to 10 PM AKDT Friday. * WINDS...Northeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. The strongest winds will be from 7 to 10 PM Friday evening, with breezy winds continuing through the night. * HUMIDITY...As low as 24 percent. Poor relative humidity recovery expected Friday night. * TEMPERATURES...Highs in the mid to upper 80s. * IMPACTS...Rapid ignition, growth and spread of fires will be possible. Hot, dry, and windy conditions may lead to rapid spread of fires. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that conditions are occurring or will occur which could lead to the development of large and dangerous fires.
