We expect hailstorms in district Poprad,
that represent potential risk for human activities.
They can be associated with short term rainstorms that can reach 10 - 20 mm, gusts of 18 - 23 m/s (65 - 85 km/h) and hail.

In the Poprad district winds are expected to rise in some mountain areas
reaching in short blows impact speed of up to 30 - 37 m/s (110 - 135 km/h).
