A polar low will Thursday morning develop in the C5 area and vil move South West. At Thursday afternoon the center will arrive over West-Finnmark. West of center the wind is expected at severe gale force 9 from the North. East of the center the wind is expected at severe gale force 9 from the South.

When the low hits Finnmark, it becomes stagnant and locally it can cause heavy snowfall (30-50 cm/24hrs)

 The low is expected to weaken Friday.

Locally moderate icing on ships in exposed coastal and fjord areas, due to low temperatures and southeasterly winds.

From Tuesday afternoon and until Wednesday afternoon locally up to 20 cm of snow is expected in 24 hours.
