The next few days will remain quite rainy - precipitation is expected, intense in places, thunderstorms are also expected. In the eastern part of Latvia, the soil has been significantly wetter than normal for an extended period and the water level in water bodies remains constantly high, additional precipitation will worsen the situation - lower areas will be flooded more widely. In other river basins in the west of the country, the water level in water bodies will also continue to rise after the recent rains. BE AWARE of the potentially flood-prone areas!  The environment is already overly humid, water is accumulating in the fields and in the lower depressions,  low-lying areas on the banks of water bodies are flooded. Caution should be exercised when moving in flood-prone areas.
