On the night to 02.01., as the precipitation zone continues moving eastwards, heavy snowfall with a snow cover increase of 5-8 cm is also expected locally in the eastern regions. Snowfall can hinder the movement of vehicles on the roads, as well as pedestrian movement.
Visibility will be reduced during snowfall and blizzard conditions.
Snowfall and wet snow deposits in certain areas can cause tree branches to break and damage power lines.
