* WHAT...Wet snow. Additional snow accumulations of up to one
inch.

* WHERE...City and Borough of Sitka.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM AKST early this morning.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Periods of moderate precipitation have
been causing snow-melt cooling, which has allowed snow to fall
in the Sitka area even though temps are well above freezing.
Snowfall rates will vary substantially as the main forecast
challenge remains moisture availability. Lighter snowfall rates
and warming temperatures would also limit snowfall totals.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
