Remark:
A low pressure system originating from Alaska will arrive over the South Coast today.

Light precipitation is likely across the region today with the potential for locally heavier precipitation tonight. Snow levels will generally hover around 300 - 400 meters. Locally heavier areas of precipitation will have the potential to drive snow levels lower. with the Sunshine Coast, Howe Sound, higher elevations of Metro Vancouver as well as the North Shore of Metro Vancouver to Mission having a higher change to see snowfall accumulations.
