Special Weather Statement
Issued: 1:37 PM Oct. 30, 2025 – Environment and Climate Change Canada
Rain and gusty winds expected on Halloween (Friday).

Locations: most of New Brunswick.

Total rainfall: 25 to 40 mm, with locally higher amounts possible.

Maximum wind gusts: east to southeasterly 70 km/h along the east coast.

Time span: Rain and gusty winds will spread eastward across the province early Friday and taper from west to east later in the day or early Friday evening.

Remarks: Rainfall warnings have been issued for southern parts of the province; however, some uncertainty still remains and warnings may need to be expanded.

Clear storm drains and gutters of leaves and other debris prior to the rainfall to help reduce flooding. Secure outdoor items, including Halloween decorations and garbage bins, to prevent them from being displaced or damaged by strong winds.
