Winter weather travel advisory in effect.

Hazards:
Localized snowfall accumulations of 5 to 10 cm.
Poor visibility in bursts of heavier snow.

Timing:
Tonight into Tuesday morning.

Discussion:
Cold north to northwest winds  off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay will affect the area tonight into Tuesday morning. The Tuesday morning commute may be significantly impacted, particularly for areas southeast of Georgian Bay including the Highway 400 corridor.

Conditions should improve by Tuesday afternoon.

Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic.
