At 2:23 a.m. EDT, a severe thunderstorm is located about 20 km northeast of Lion's Head. This severe thunderstorm is moving east at 50 km/h. Strong wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain are possible. Locations and nearby areas that could be impacted include: Stokes Bay, Black Creek Provincial Park, Old Woman's River, Lion's Head, Colpoy's Bay, Cape Croker, Halfway Point, Christian Island ### Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.

Squalls with wind gusts up to 40 knots, frequent lightning, hail of 1 to 2 centimetres and poor to very poor visibility in thunderstorms heavy at times are expected or occurring in the area. Thunderstorms with squalls over northern Lake Huron will continue eastaward or southeastward into Georgian Bay this morning. ### Poor to very poor visibility may contribute to voyage delays and make marine navigation hazardous. Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain. Hazards: Quarter to golf ball size hail. Torrential downpours. Wind gusts up to 90 km/h. Timing: Through this morning. Additional information: Thunderstorms are expected to track southeastward from Lake Huron through this morning. The main hazards are expected to be large hail and heavy rain. ### Local utility outages are possible. Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.
