Severe Weather Warning for Damaging Wind

For parts of the WEST COAST, LOWER EYRE PENINSULA and NORTH WEST PASTORAL districts: Westerly DAMAGING WINDS averaging 55 to 65 km/h with peak gusts up to 100 km/h are likely over coastal parts this morning. Winds will shift southwesterly behind the front and DAMAGING WIND GUSTS up to 90 km/h may extend further inland by mid-morning, reaching further into parts of the North West Pastoral district.
For the MOUNT LOFTY AND FLINDERS RANGES: Strong west to northwesterly winds with DAMAGING WIND GUSTS around 90/kmh are likely to develop over the Mount Lofty Ranges after sunrise and then also extend further north over elevated parts of the Flinders Ranges during the afternoon.
Winds throughout are expected to ease from the west during the evening.
Locations which may be affected include Ceduna, Nullarbor, Elliston, Victor Harbor, Burra and Peterborough.
Sheep Graziers Warning

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and showers and westerly winds are expected during Wednesday and Thursday. Areas likely to be affected include the Mount Lofty Ranges, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island and Mid North forecast districts and parts of the West Coast, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Flinders, Upper South East, Lower South East, North West Pastoral and North East Pastoral forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
