* WHAT...Southeast winds 15 to 25 kt over Big Island Windward
Waters. Seas 6 to 11 feet over both areas.

* WHERE...Maui County Windward Waters and Big Island Windward
Waters.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM HST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in these conditions.

...COASTAL FLOOD STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE
THURSDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 12 to
18 feet along north facing shores and 8 to 12 feet along west
facing shores. For the Coastal Flood Statement, isolated minor
coastal flooding.

* WHERE...For the High Surf Advisory, north and west facing
shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, including north facing
shores of Maui and the Big Island. For the Coastal Flood
Statement, low lying coastal areas of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu,
Molokai, Maui, and the Big Island.

* WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 6 PM HST Thursday.
For the Coastal Flood Statement, through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents
will make swimming dangerous. Flooding of beaches that are
normally dry, minor coastal erosion, and saltwater inundation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid driving through flooded roadways. If you are forced to
drive through salt water, be sure to rinse your vehicle with
fresh water. Move electronics, vehicles or other valuables to
higher ground. Monitor vessels to ensure mooring lines don't get
too tight and watch out for overwash around boat ramps. Secure
canoes or other watercraft stowed on beaches.

Heed all advice from ocean safety officials. When in doubt, don't
go out.
