* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 537 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located along a line from 13 NM southwest of
Crivitz to 9 NM north of New London, or along a line from 25 NM
northeast of Shawano to 14 NM south of Shawano, moving east at 45
knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create
locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged
in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Manitowoc.

Sensitive Groups level.

WHERE...The Lake Michigan shoreline.

WHEN...Until 11 PM tonight.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions:
Sensitive groups: Make outdoor activities shorter and less

susceptible to the dangerous swimming conditions include...
Rock Island State Beach, Baileys Harbor beaches and Whitefish
Dunes Beach in Door County.
