...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT LOGAN AND NORTHEASTERN
WELD COUNTIES UNTIL 10 PM MDT...

At 914 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from near Peetz to near Willard, moving
southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sterling, Iliff, Peetz, Crook, North Sterling Reservoir, Padroni,
Logan Corners, Atwood, Westplains, Proctor, Pawnee Pass, Twin
Buttes and Reiradon Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Colorado, including the following
counties, Logan County, Phillips County and Sedgwick County.

* WHEN...Until 3 AM MDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected to repeatedly
move across far northeast Colorado this evening and into the
early morning hours. Locally, up to 3 to 5 inches of rainfall is
possible.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
