...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM EDT SATURDAY... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of northeast and northern Florida, including the following areas, in northeast Florida, Baker, Coastal Duval, Coastal Flagler, Coastal Nassau, Eastern Clay, Eastern Putnam, Inland Flagler, Inland Nassau, Northeast Coastal St. Johns, Northern Inland St. Johns, South Central Duval, Southeast Coastal St. Johns, Southern Inland St. Johns, Trout River, Western Clay, Western Duval, Western Putnam and Western St. Johns. In northern Florida, Bradford, Central Marion, Eastern Alachua, Eastern Hamilton, Eastern Marion, Gilchrist, Northern Columbia, Southeastern Columbia, Southwestern Columbia, Suwannee, Union, Western Alachua, Western Hamilton and Western Marion. * WHEN...Until 2 AM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lifting warm front and moisture due to Hurricane Isaias passing west of the area will bring waves of moderate to heavy rainfall across areas of Northeast Florida into this evening. Several inches of rain from the last several days will make for saturated soils and additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches with locally higher amounts may lead to flash flooding.
