At 625 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Columbus,
moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Columbus, Tryon, Saluda, Mill Spring, Tuxedo, North Saluda Reservoir,
Glassy Mountain, Lake Adger, Dana, and Gowensville.

At 623 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 11 miles south of Hendersonville to 5 miles
west of Pickens to 6 miles north of Clarkesville. Movement was east
at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Walhalla, Pickens, Slater-Marietta, Tallulah Falls, Salem,
Tigerville, Jocassee Gorges, Devils Fork State Park, Table Rock State
Park, and Tallulah Gorge State Park.
