* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow expected. Total
snow accumulations between 5 and 9 inches. Winds gusting as high as
40 mph. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow possible. Total snow
accumulations between 12 and 18 inches possible. Winds could gust
as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Langlade, Lincoln, Oneida, Vilas, Florence, Forest,
Menominee, Northern Marinette County, Northern Oconto County, and
Southern Marinette counties.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, from 7 PM this evening to 1 PM
CDT Friday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Saturday evening
through Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...For the Winter Storm Warning, travel could be very
difficult. Areas of blowing and drifting snow could significantly
reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Friday
morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. For
the Winter Storm Watch, the strong winds and weight of snow on tree
limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages.
Whiteout and near blizzard conditions are possible and may make
travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Travel could
be very difficult to impossible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your
