...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 3 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected. Inundation of around 1.5 to 2.5 feet above ground level is possible along shorelines and low-lying coastal areas. * WHERE...Eastern Strait of Juan de Fuca and Western Strait of Juan de Fuca zones. * WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 3 PM PST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Minor coastal flooding due to tidal overflow is expected around high tide. This may lead to flooding of parking lots, parks, and roads, with only isolated road closures expected. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Inundation above ground level refers to the height above the Mean Higher High Water (MHHW) level. &&

Waters Strait Of Juan De Fuca. * WHEN...From this evening through Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds will be on the side closest to Neah Bay. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Gale Watch is issued when the risk of gale force winds of 34 to 47 knots has significantly increased, but the specific timing and/or location is still uncertain.
