* Until 600 PM MDT.

* At 253 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported that heavy rainfall
has produced flash flooding in Little Wildhorse slot canyon. Other
slot canyons in the vicinity are also likely experiencing flash
flooding at this time. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of slot canyons and
normally dry washes.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Little Wildhorse, Belle, Ding and Dang slot canyons.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.
