South Central Weber County in northern Utah... * WHEN...Until 545 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Although rainfall has ended, flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas likely persists. River or stream flows, especially along the Weber River, are expected to rise. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 443 PM MDT, Between 0.75 and 1.25 inches of rain fell across the area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ogden, Layton, Farmington, Hill Air Force Base, Roy, Clearfield, Kaysville, South Ogden, Washington Terrace, Riverdale, South Weber, Uintah, Weber State University, Sunset, Fruit Heights and East Layton. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Northern Salt Lake County in northern Utah... * WHEN...Until 700 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 345 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding across southern Davis and northern Salt Lake Counties. Between 0.5 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 0.75 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
