* At 1122 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Old Tunnel State Park to near Kronkosky State
Natural Area, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning
is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM CDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Kendall and Medina.

* WHEN...Until 400 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1111 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Up to 2
inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
San Antonio, Boerne, Comfort, Canyon Lake, Helotes, Fair Oaks
Ranch, Bulverde, Shavano Park, Cross Mountain, Kronkosky
State Natural Area, Walnut Grove, Nelson City, Kreutzberg,

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.

...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northern Medina,
eastern Bandera, southeastern Kerr, southwestern Blanco, southeastern
Gillespie, Kendall, Bexar and central Comal Counties through 1215 AM
CDT...

At 1109 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Fredericksburg to near
Kronkosky State Natural Area to near Hill Country State Natural Area.
Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
San Antonio, Schertz, Kerrville, Converse, Universal City, Live Oak,
Boerne, Selma, Castroville, Comfort, Blanco, Bandera, Stinson
Municipal Airport, Tarpley, San Antonio Int Airport, Randolph AFB,
Canyon Lake, Leon Valley, Helotes, and Fair Oaks Ranch.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
south central Texas.
