Southeastern Jefferson County in east Tennessee... * WHEN...Until 400 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 107 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Newport, Parrottsville, Del Rio, Caney Branch, Bybee, Cedar Creek and Round Mountain. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Locations that receive multiple rounds of locally heavy rainfall could experience instances of flash flooding.
