...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM EDT THIS
EVENING FOR CENTRAL YORK COUNTY...

At 605 PM EDT, the heavy rain has ended, but between 2 and 3 inches
of rain have fallen. Minor flooding impacts will continue for a very
short time, but the Flash Flood Warning for area around Red Lion is
expected to be allowed to expire at 645 PM EDT.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Red Lion, Spry, Dallastown, Windsor and Yoe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

Northeastern York County in south central Pennsylvania...

* WHEN...Until 845 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 543 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported ongoing flooding in
the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already
occurring. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lancaster, Columbia, East Petersburg, Salunga-Landisville,
Maytown, Mountville, Hallam, Marietta, Wrightsville and
Washington Boro.
