counties, Lancaster and York.

* WHEN...Until 1115 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 844 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the
warned area.  Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lancaster, York, Columbia, Millersville, Willow Street, Red
Lion, Spry, Dallastown, East York, Stonybrook-Wilshire,
Paradise, Salunga-Landisville, Shrewsbury, Grantley, Tyler
Run-Queens Gate, Valley View, Strasburg, Mountville, Marietta
and Stewartstown.

Southeastern York County in south central Pennsylvania...

* Until 945 PM EDT.

* At 640 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1 inch of rain has
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible
in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Paradise, Quarryville, Gap, Delta, Wakefield, Holtwood, Sunnyburn,
Susquehanna Trails, Intercourse, Christiana, Georgetown, Fawn
Grove, Kirkwood, Little Britain, Buck, Peach Bottom and White
Horse.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Scattered thunderstorms with locally heavy rain are forecast
later this afternoon and evening. Hourly rainfall rates of 1
to 2 inches are likely within the strongest storms and could
produce isolated instances of flash flooding in and near the
watch area.
