...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 PM EST MONDAY... * WHAT...Lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 4 inches. * WHERE...Lorain and Medina Counties. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities will drop below 1/4 mile in heavy snow. Travel may be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Localized tree damage and power outages are possible due to the combined weight of wet snow accumulations and leaves remaining on the trees. Snowfall rates within the strongest bands may reach up to 1 inch per hour. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling. The Ohio Department of Transportation and Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed all travel restrictions and delay unnecessary travel.
