For the Low Water Advisory, abnormally low water levels expected. * WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Erie from Maumee Bay to Vermilion OH. * WHEN...From 8 AM Friday to 4 AM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Below normal water levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong west to southwest winds will cause water levels across the western basin to fall 1 to 2 feet below low water datum. The critical mark for safe navigation is currently 6 inches below low water datum. The lowest water levels are expected Friday evening. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
