...Heavy Snow and Strong Gusty Winds Reducing Visibility...

A line of heavy snow and gusty winds up to 35 mph has reduced
visibility to around 1 mile at times along its track. The observed
visibility has increased and wind gusts have decreased given its
location away from Lake MI now, but these conditions can still
create hazardous driving. It does have a history of causing
visibility less than 1 mile when it was closer to Southern Lower
Michigan.

Slow down, increase following distance, and use low beam
headlights under this area of heavy snow. If you do have
visibility reduced to less than 1/4 mile, we would appreciate a
report of such an observation.
