...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO 2 AM EDT SATURDAY... ...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 2 PM EDT SATURDAY... * WHAT...For the first Coastal Flood Advisory, up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline. For the second Coastal Flood Advisory, up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline. * WHERE...In New Jersey, Hudson, Eastern Essex and Eastern Union Counties. In New York, New York (Manhattan) County. * WHEN...For the first Coastal Flood Advisory, from 8 PM this evening to 2 AM EDT Saturday. For the second Coastal Flood Advisory, from 10 AM to 2 PM EDT Saturday. * COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Minor flooding in the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Some roads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience minor flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional rounds of minor coastal flooding around the times high tide can be expected into Sunday. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. && Time of high total tides are approximate to the nearest hour.
