For the Gale Warning, north winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and seas 5 to 8 feet. * WHERE...Sandy Hook NJ to Montauk Point NY out 20 nm. * WHEN...For the Freezing Spray Advisory, until 1 PM EST this afternoon. For the Gale Warning, until 1 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in freezing spray is hazardous. Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic components inoperative. Ice accretion on decks and superstructures may result in some loss of stability. Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should prepare for ice accumulation on their vessel and consider altering plans to avoid or mitigate these hazardous conditions. Coastal Flood Advisory

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline. * WHERE...Southern Queens and Southern Nassau Counties. * WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Some roads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience minor flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional minor coastal flooding is possible with high tide cycles late today through early Monday. Ice from the back bays could get pushed onshore during high tide, and flood waters could freeze on roadways, further complicating impacts. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. && Time of high total tides are approximate to the nearest hour.
