Additional snow accumulations between 6 and 10 inches, with localized snow amounts up to 1 foot over northern Onondaga and northern Madison Counties. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph with blowing and drifting snow. * WHERE...Madison and Onondaga Counties. * WHEN...Until 6 AM EST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The lake effect snow band will generate snowfall rates up to 1-2 inches per hour in the heaviest portion of the lake effect snow band.
