For the Small Craft Advisory, west winds 15 to 25 kt and seas 2 to 4 feet expected. * WHERE...Long Island Sound from Port Jefferson and New Haven east to Orient Point and the Connecticut River. * WHEN...For the Freezing Spray Advisory, until 6 AM EST Wednesday. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 1 PM this afternoon to 1 AM EST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in freezing spray is hazardous. Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic components inoperative. Ice accretion on decks and superstructures may result in some loss of stability. Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
