Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 5:47 AM Feb. 10, 2026 – National Weather Service
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 1 AM EST THURSDAY... * WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze. * WHERE...Madison, Northern Oneida, Onondaga, and Southern Oneida Counties. * WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 1 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A clipper system will bring a quick-hitting round of snow this morning and early afternoon with light accumulations. Temperatures are expected to rise into the lower and mid 30s, and the snow may taper off as mixed precipitation or patchy freezing drizzle as a brief lull builds in during the afternoon. This could result in a light glaze of ice. Following the cold frontal passage, a transition to lake effect snow showers tonight into Wednesday is expected to lead to the bulk of the snow accumulation. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1. &&
