...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM MDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of central New Mexico, including the following area, South Central Mountains. * WHEN...Until 7 PM MDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Slow-moving storms with heavy rainfall rates up to two inches per hour will develop over and around the Ruidoso area burn scars early Monday afternoon. Saturated soils from heavy rain Sunday afternoon will increase runoff efficiency with storms that develop.
