The combination of dry fuels, low relative humidity and differing levels of drought especially across inland Southeast NC coast...will all combine with periodic W to NW winds gusting to around 15 mph. This will lead to an increased fire danger across Southeast NC later this morning through early this evening as relative humidity values drop to the low and mid 20s except around 30 at the immediate coast. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Outdoor burning is not recommended today. Please consult your local burn permitting authorities on whether burning is allowed for today. If you must burn, use extreme caution, as fires can spread rapidly under these conditions. &&
