At 701 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Fremont to 6 miles south of Walnut Creek. Movement was northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Kinston, Farmville, La Grange, Snow Hill, Dawson, Maury, Ormondsville, Institute, Jason, Lizzie, Kinston Regional Jetport, Fountain, Hookerton, Sandy Bottom, Castoria, Shine, Fort Run VFD, Bull Head VFD, and Walstonburg.
