...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN FERGUS COUNTY THROUGH 430 PM MDT... At 346 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles southeast of Grass Range, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Fergus County. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. ...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS EVENING FOR HOT TEMPERATURES, GUSTY WINDS, AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 112, 113, 114, 115, AND 117... * AFFECTED AREA...Eastern Glacier/Toole/Central/Eastern Pondera/Liberty, Hill and Blaine Counties, Lewis and Clark National Forest Rocky Mountain District-Rocky Mountain Front, Chouteau and Fergus Counties and Central and Eastern Lewis and Clark National Forest Areas. * WINDS...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 13 percent. * TEMPERATURES...Up to 102. * THUNDERSTORMS...Isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms may cause localized strong, and erratic wind gusts and lightning, mostly over zones 115, 117 and 118 this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Containment of any ongoing or new fires may be very difficult. Extreme Heat Warning

...EXTREME HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions. High temperatures between 100 and 107 degrees expected today, with overnight temperatures only dropping to the mid to upper 60s. High temperatures between 95 and 100 expected Sunday. * WHERE...Bears Paw Mountains and Southern Blaine and Fergus County below 4500ft. * WHEN...Until 9 PM MDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes. If you must spend time outdoors, wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. &&
