...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 5 PM MST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Snow expected. There is a likelihood of minor to moderate winter weather impacts. Total snow accumulations up to 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...Missoula and Bitterroot Valley. * WHEN...From 2 AM to 5 PM MST Saturday. * IMPACTS...For MINOR winter weather impacts, expect a few inconveniences to normal activities. Use caution while driving. Winter traveling conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is the potential for snow bands and or snow squalls to impact the area late Friday night into Saturday morning. Anticipate brief but rapid deterioration in visibility, moderate to heavy snowfall intensity, and strong winds with any banding or squalls. There is the potential for much colder air from the northeast, through the day on Saturday, increasing the risk for rapid freeze up of any wet or slushy surfaces.
