* WHAT...For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind chills
as low as 11. For the Extreme Cold Watch, dangerously cold wind
chills as low as 15 possible.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Alabama, northwest
Florida, and southeast Mississippi.

* WHEN...For the Extreme Cold Warning, until noon CST today. For the
Extreme Cold Watch, from late tonight through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. Temperatures this cold can
possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must
go outside.

To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
